About the Author
Tyler Befus landed his first fly-caught trout just before his third birthday. Tyler has since traveled the world teaching kids and adults alike how to fly fish. Having recently completed his undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University, Tyler now pursues a master's of science at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, in Watershed Science with specializations in Wetland biogeochemistry.
"I really admire the way Tyler presents his information. His writing is clear and concise, and he doesn’t overwhelm us with jargon or overly technical descriptions of fly fishing. After all, it’s just another way of fishing, and fishing is supposed to be easy and fun, not a chore like schoolwork .. . . You have a real treat ahead of you, and I hope you enjoy as much inspiration from fly fishing as Tyler." —Tom Rosenbauer, author of The Orvis Guide to Beginning Fly Fishing, from the foreword
